I've seen the dam as it was begun to be scraped down, from the road. They are going to find leaks and do something about them.
And the playground extension is begun as well.
So it was a good opportunity for some young people to dabble in the lake waters...

Hello,
ReplyDeleteIt will be nice when the dam work is done. I like the photo of the children with their dog. Take care, enjoy your day!
There's even a public sign describing things...but I haven't walked to that area yet to take a photo of it. Soon!
Delete...there seem to be no end to the construction at Tomahawk Lake.
ReplyDeleteYou said it Tom!
DeleteBack at it, are they? It will be nice when it is done!
ReplyDeleteApparently when the trees were removed, whose roots of course helped stabilize the dam, those roots then died and caused spaces for leakage. What a bunch of dolts (I think!)
DeleteMaybe by summer you'll have lake and playground restored.
ReplyDeleteIt sure would be nice.
DeleteThat is a lot of work! A season of new beginnings!
ReplyDeleteYes. And at least I have a car for which I'm very grateful (and pay a lot on insurance and gas) to move myself elsewhere!
