Wasn't it supposed to have a partridge in it?
This tree is down the hill from my apartment building. Here is a view from the other side of it, looking up towards my apartment building.
You can see the entire structure of the other tree, uphill from my apartment. Last fall it didn't have the usual pretty leaf color. And so far this spring, it hasn't had a blossom. I think it will need to come down soon, before wind may break off some branches that land on cars. We shall see...
And oh, look, here's a third and fourth and fifth... already turning into leaves at a slightly lower elevation in town.
Today's quote:
I don’t know anything about consciousness. I just try to teach my students how to hear the birds sing. |

Good morning. I wonder what will happen to it.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good question.
DeleteThe trees are looking beautiful. We are a little behind, coming soon. Take care, have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteOrnamentals are for their looks!! Have a great week, Eileen.
Delete...more and more states are outlawing this invasive tree.
ReplyDeletePoor old trees, landscape planners went wild for them for a while.
Delete..they were cheap, they grew fast and people loved then!
DeleteWhilst today here it is snowing.
ReplyDeleteThe trees are looking like spring is definitely in bloom there. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteSigns of spring! Management needs to remove the ailing pear tree. They are not worth saving.
