A morning looking at the mountain ridge

Rime Ice on the ridges across the valley. It was in the low 30s last night, but due to be close to 70 during the daytime! (Taken April 9, 2023)

A great view of the greening of the mountain, as trees leaf out starting at the bottoms and going uphill.

Gas Pipeline, no smoking etc.

Natural Gas Pipeline. I could hear some hissing and even smell the rotten egg odor that's added to natural gas.

    1. Yes, it's a wonderful series of small changes every day.

  6. What a great contrast! And yes it happens like that here too. Unless there has been a killing frost--usually those get the greening trees at the lower elevations and not the ones higher up.
