My life lately

 Coolish 54 when I woke around 7:30.

Rain off and on...so my double layers will hopefully allow me to go here and yon today...with raincoat and umbrella at the ready.

Here're some random shots from the last week.

My very knowledgeable Doctor Drew Schnyder. I passed with flying colors on my yearly exam...mainly blood work. No prodding or listening by doc any more. In and out in 15 min.

The new haircut after I got home from travels. And yes, Dr. Schnyder is going to take off the dark growth (non-cancerous) on the side of my head.

Our peonies several years ago.

Our peonies this year

A map of the Tailgate Market last week. Look down from upper right till you see two trees and two booths at an angle. The first one is ours, Mud Buddies with pottery for sale.

And this last few days I've seen so many wonderful photos from all over of the Aurora Borialis...so here's one I kept.

Aurora Borealis over the Methodist Church in Cades Cove, TN (in Great Smoky Mountains National Park) by Adam Williamson.

Canna Lily 'Monet Sunset' - Canna x generalis by Jaap Cost Budde. From the internet.

I've been enjoying Apple TV's production "Franklin" with Michael Douglas as starring role. It takes place totally in France...so I'm glad to have English subtitles because the production has the speech in French quite often.

And I'm almost finished listening to the last (no. 9) Outlander book, Go Tell The Bees that I am Gone. Now I'll go back and listen to the 8th of the series which somehow I missed. Only 9 more hours to go out of 46 to start! Glad I've been able to renew it through Libby at my library, on line.

Today's quote:

When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around.

  1. We had clouds every night for the Northern Lights. Good luck at the market place. Is this your first or second one this Spring?

    1. I'll be going to my second this Saturday, and hopefully every Saturday until November when it closes just before Thanksgiving. But I may not have to tend the booth every Saturday once Cathy is better from her physical therapy. I never tried to see the Northern Lights!

  8. It's the same temperature here this morning at 7 (and earlier). Of course, you know that I would like that church photo.

  9. A good haircut will lift one's spirits! Past time for me to get one. Being a homebody makes my hair take a back seat to my garden!
