At her prime.

Such glorious blooms on two stalks. This dear old plant deserves someone who will take better care of her than I have. I feel guilty, not having repotted her as I intended.

    1. Or they are just a determined little plant. Either way, they give joy to dull days.

  6. Very pretty. Some types of orchids are surprisingly hardy. Yours appears to have thrived. It must like the way you care for it.

    1. I think this jungle plant could grow anywhere after the way I've mistreated it. I sure didn't do anything to help it. A few times it got liquid fertilizer. And I either over water it, or leave it so dry that it sends out these shoots, like hello, we're thirsty here!!

    1. That's great to know, but my guilt at not repotting her will lead me to definitely trim off all the dead roots this summer!
